AI systems for electrical network inspection at Powercor

At Powercor Australia (CitiPower & Powercor, 2024–present) I develop production AI systems for electrical network inspection.

The stack combines computer vision models for asset defect detection on pole-top and line inspection imagery with Vision Language Models for automated document understanding — extracting structured information from field reports, drawings, and standards documents. The work covers the full MLOps pipeline: data ingestion, labelling, training pipelines, model registry, and cloud deployment.
